The Information Sharing and Analysis Organization Standards Organization (ISAO SO) held an online New and Emerging ISAOs Roundtable discussion on Tuesday, May 23, 2017.
The monthly online roundtable is open to New and Emerging ISAOs as well as individuals interested in learning more about starting an ISAO. The roundtable discussions provide an opportunity to share knowledge and ask questions regarding Information Sharing and Analysis Organizations.
This month’s roundtable discussion topic was Lessons Learned While Establishing Trust. The guest speakers were Carlos Kizzee and Christina Fowler.
Carlos Kizzee is the executive Director of the Defense Industrial Base Information Sharing Organization (DIB-ISAO) and the legacy cyber security center of excellence for the Defense Industrial Base (DIB), the Defense Security Information Exchange (DSIE). Mr. Kizzee is responsible for strategic development of DIB security and resilience capabilities and mechanisms, and for overseeing the administrative management and operations of the Defense Security Information Exchange; an organization focused on enhancing the cyber security of DIB entities through industry threat information sharing, analysis, collaboration and informed mitigation.
Christina Fowler is the Steering Committee Chair for the Defense Security Information Exchange (DSIE) and a Principal Cyber Analyst for The MITRE Corporation. At MITRE, she leads the Cyber Threat Analysis Cell (CTAC) where she oversees Malware analysis, Intel Analysis, and Dev-Ops efforts. She is also responsible for Threat Actor analysis and tracking.
