Although he began his career at LMI, he now owns his own company called Kitfox Web Development, and works remotely as a contractor from the beautiful country of Ecuador. He works alongside Michelle Rodriguez-Gil in maintaining the website, designing new content, and publishing the latest documents. He has four years of experience as a full-stack web application developer, focusing on web security and front-end design. His certifications include a Web Application Defender from GIAC, Certified Usability Analyst from Human Factors International, and a Certified Technology Associate from Microsoft. He’s worked on projects for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and UNICEF. His team enjoys hearing all about his weekend South American adventures on their bi-weekly calls…soon he’ll be sharing his adventures in fatherhood, as he and his wife are expecting their first baby this summer.
Mr. Brush has a unique perspective of the ISAO SO, since he’s helped to build the website that is often touted as a digital hub of resources for the information sharing community. When asked what excites him most about working with the ISAO SO, he said, “I enjoy being able to help turn the ISAO SO’s ideas into a reality.” Brush continued, “The organization really hit the ground running back in 2015, and I feel like the isao.org website has been an important tool in communicating with the information sharing community. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes to organize events, publish documents, and create new tools and resources for other organizations to use, and I love being the final step in sharing that new content with the world.”
It’s evident that Mr. Brush loves his job based on the quality of his work day in and day out. He credits colleagues Joseph Mariña, Trey Gramann, and the rest of LMI’s System Development team for helping him find what he believes is the perfect career for him. He currently lives with his wife in Quito, Ecuador.
