Julina Macy is the senior communications communicator for the ISAO SO. In this role, she is part of a marketing communications team that manages internal and external communications for the organization, which encompasses content development for ISAO.org, social media, media relations and other marketing efforts. Macy joined the ISAO SO in 2017 and brings 13 years of marketing and communication experience to the organization.
In addition to supporting overall marketing and communication efforts, Macy is a contributing member of the ISAO SO support team, which assists ISAOs in their overall development and in building strong relationships with both new and established ISAOs.
Prior to joining the ISAO SO team, Macy helped small and mid-size businesses tell their stories and build awareness of their organization and products/services through both traditional and new media communications efforts. Macy is now excited to be “part of an organization that plays such a valuable role in fostering trust within the information sharing ecosystem by building a more connected, informed and empowered community.”
Macy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from the University of Houston and now lives in San Antonio, Texas.
