IISC Venue and Directions

The Third Annual International Information Sharing Conference will take place at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) downtown campus in San Antonio, Texas. Centrally located in the heart of Texas, the venue is located in downtown San Antonio with access to its famous Riverwalk, plenty of shopping and dining opportunities, museums and more!

The IISC will be held in the UTSA Conference Center at the UTSA Downtown Campus, primarily in the Buena Vista Theatre, Aula Canaria and Assembly Rooms. See map below for details.

Two hotels are available within walking distance of the UTSA Downtown Campus/Conference Venue. Government and Federal rates are available.

Public Transportation

The city of San Antonio offers easy access to downtown San Antonio from the UTSA Downtown Campus via public transportation. However, many adventures await in walking distance of the venue. For instance, the popular Market Square Lot is only .3 miles (a five minute walk!) away and the famous Riverwalk is just one mile from the campus.

The San Antonio International Airport is located in Uptown Central San Antonio, about 8 miles north of downtown. It has three runways and covers 2,305 acres. The airport is approximately 10 miles from the venue.

Driving Directions:

• Get on US-281 South from S Terminal Dr and Dee Howard Way
• Continue on US-281 South to La Trinidad Street/South Pecos Street. Take exit 155c from I-35 South
• Follow South Pecos Street to West Cesar E. Chavez Blvd

Parking

Self-parking is complimentary at the Downtown Campus in Lot D3 and the Cattleman’s Square Lot. Spaces are free and available on a first come, first serve basis. We encourage attendees to use the parking available. Parking is also available on the top level of the DTC Garage at $2/hr.

Exhibitors and sponsors will be provided access to levels B2 and B3 in the parking garage (up to 75 spaces available on a first come, first serve basis).
