The Louisiana Business Emergency Operations Center (LABEOC) is authorized by the Governor, the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, and Louisiana Economic Development to serve as the state’s “Information Sharing” hub for public and private sector entities before, during and after disasters, for all hazards, including cyber-incidents.

Industries, homeland security agencies and economic development organizations, or any organization that needs to be aware of potential emerging cyber-physical threats, throughout Louisiana interested in becoming members should contact the LABEOC.

Organizations considering membership may include:

  • Private sector entities, that own Critical Infrastructure and supply chains that depend on those infrastructures
  • Industry organizations and trade associations
  • Regional economic development organizations and chambers of commerce
  • Financial services organizations
  • Local and state emergency management agencies, including DHS PSAs
